Event Recap: INNOCN Hosts Tokyo Media Showcase, Unveils World’s First 49-Inch Flat Monitor Built for AI
An official recap of INNOCN’s 2026 New Product Media Showcase in Akihabara, Tokyo. Discover the keynote highlights, the unveiling of the world’s first flat 49" Mini LED monitor built for AI workflows, and our next-gen display lineup.
1. Keynote Address: Rethinking Displays for the AI Era
The showcase opened with a keynote from Xinwei Liu, Global Marketing Manager at INNOCN, who reflected on how daily computing workflows have fundamentally transformed over the past two years.
Liu pointed out that the rise of AI tools, coding assistants, and automated multi-agent systems has changed how professionals use their monitors. Work is no longer confined to a single maximized window; power users now run dense, side-by-side viewports pairing code editors (like Cursor), LLM interfaces (ChatGPT, Claude), terminals, and live documentation.
Keynote Highlight
“Your AI co-pilot just got a cockpit. The world’s first 49-inch flat monitor. Built for AI.”
— Xinwei Liu introducing INNOCN's flagship design philosophy to media attendees.
While conventional 49-inch ultrawide monitors have relied on curved panels, that curvature introduces physical distortion to straight lines and code, making multi-window tiling less natural. INNOCN’s response was deliberate: eliminate the curve entirely to deliver a distortion-free command center for modern productivity.
2. Hands-On Spotlight: The E49M1R Flat Mini LED
Following the keynote, attendees were given extensive hands-on time with the centerpiece of the event: the E49M1R. Media tests focused heavily on multi-window layout performance, reviewing code side-by-side with AI chat prompts without edge warping.
E49M1R Hardware Highlights
- Form Factor: 49-inch Flat VA Panel (32:9 aspect ratio) with 3-sided borderless design.
- Resolution: Dual QHD (5120 × 1440), providing the workspace of dual 27" 1440p screens with zero bezel interruption.
- Backlight Tech: 1,760-zone Mini LED with VESA DisplayHDR 1000 and 3000:1 native contrast ratio.
- Color Accuracy: Factory-calibrated ΔE < 2, 100% sRGB, 95% DCI-P3, and built-in ambient light auto-dimming.
- Multitasking & Speed: 165Hz refresh rate, 2ms (OD) response time, and native Picture-by-Picture (PBP) for dual-system simultaneous input.
3. Showcase Highlights: QD-OLED, Dual-Mode & Creator Displays
Beyond the E49M1R, the hands-on showcase featured dedicated demo stations highlighting three other targeted displays:
• 49Q1R: 49" Curved QD-OLED Flagship
Built for simulation and cinematic gaming. Powered by an 1800R curved Samsung Quantum Dot OLED panel with a 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio, 144Hz refresh rate, 0.03ms (GTG) response time, and single-cable 90W USB-C docking with built-in KVM and Gigabit Ethernet.
• GA32V1M MAX: 32" QD-MiniLED with Dual-Mode Technology
Featuring 2,304 Mini LED dimming zones and low-reflection AR+ATW coating. Media tested the instant hardware toggle between 4K @ 160Hz (AAA visual fidelity) and FHD @ 320Hz (competitive high-frame-rate esports).
• CB32U1: 32" 4K 120Hz Color-Critical Creator Monitor
Engineered for photo and video grading workflows. Each unit includes an individual factory calibration report guaranteeing ΔE < 1 color accuracy across 99% DCI-P3, accompanied by a 90° pivot ergonomic stand and 90W Type-C connectivity.
4. Brand Philosophy: The Five Guiding Principles
During the presentation, Liu reiterated INNOCN's commitment to building products around genuine user feedback rather than chasing short-term marketing trends:

“We aim to be that trusted friend users rely on when choosing a monitor—grounded in uncompromising detail and listening first.”
- 1. Listen First: Prioritizing real pain points reported by developers and power users.
- 2. Design with Integrity: Engineering purposeful solutions (like flat panels for AI tiling) over industry fads.
- 3. Long-Term Partnership: Standing behind hardware with reliable long-term support.
- 4. Tangible Specs: Focusing on visual clarity and day-to-day usability users can feel.
- 5. Fair Pricing: Making high-end optical innovations accessible through in-house manufacturing.
5. 12 Years of Display Specialization & Future Roadmap
Closing the showcase, INNOCN shared insights into its global manufacturing background. Founded in 2014, the brand operates four self-owned manufacturing campuses spanning 330,000 m² (~3.5 million sq ft) with over 500 R&D engineers and 260+ display patents.
This vertically integrated model—controlling R&D, tooling, SMT assembly, and final testing—enables INNOCN to rapidly bring specialized solutions like the E49M1R to market. In addition to expanding its presence on Amazon worldwide, the company announced plans to expand hands-on retail availability through partnerships with leading electronics retailers.
